Inner Healing Arts

Justin Virant, M.A.

1.

Psychotherapy

Therapy is a method for helping you access your challenges and gifts in life and it also helps you access your inner healer and inner capacities for healing and growing.

2.

Assessment, Self-Understanding

Many of us are never really helped to understand who we are, life is easier when we know ourselves

3.

Spiritual Guidance

In my experience psychology and spirituality are interconnected, spirituality can add more depth and fulfillment to life.

4.

Coaching

I can help you make goals that fit you and give you the inner tools to reach them.

Therapy Sessions
My Approach

It is tailored to who you are and what you need.  I encourage clients to become more self-aware and self-authoring of their lives (mindfulness). I use methods to help clients access and heal the physical roots and expressions of their psychological challenges (somatic). I encourage clients to connect to spirit in a way that works for them; this often leads to greater healing, meaning and vitality in their lives (spiritual).

Sky
About me

I'm curious about life, a student of life.  I've wondered about its pains and potentials. I've been a student of Buddhism, the Diamond Approach, and shamanism.  I also completed an MA at Naropa University where I studied topics like trauma's impact on psychological development, psychology and spirituality, and the spiritual and awakening potential of the therapeutic relationship

Getting Help

All of us need help, Jack Kornfield has said, "you can't do it alone." Life is mysterious, complex and sometimes overwhelming. I believe we all need help and generally don't get enough guidance and support.  Understanding and developing your mind would impact every experience you ever have--isn't it worth getting to know yourself, maybe for the first time?

Stress

When I first started sessions with Justin I immediately felt welcomed and supported, he gave me a lot of tools to work with my depression in a healthy way. His calming presence and relatable experiences made me feel like I could open up. I noticed myself slowly getting better at dealing with difficult moments and thinking back to practices he suggested, which grounded me. I still struggle but now I have a solid foundation to keep me going. I really enjoyed his knowledge and application of Buddhist philosophy mixed with traditional talk therapy.
